Birding was what first inspired me to move beyond casual family photography and take my camera into the field. It opened my eyes to the incredible variety of birds and wildlife that inhabit the rivers, marshes, forests, and coastline of the South. These photographs reflect that journey and my continued appreciation for the beauty, behavior, and diverstiy of wildlife that calls this region home.
